Yves Saint Laurent: Arty cornaline ring

I saw this ring today on cupcakes and cashmere and knew it had to be today's post. This ring is from Yves Saint Laurent and is gold-toned medal with coraline stones. The shape of the ring is also very normal as a square but the gold prongs that hold the stones in place give it a very unique look. The rings is available for purchase on net-a-porter.com.

Banana Republic: Heritage walkabout bracelet

Sorry for the lack of post yesterday, my computer was having trouble uploading pictures.

This leather with gold stud bracelets is from Banana Republic and is only $25. It's a very versatile piece, the leather gives it a laid-back casual feel with the gold studs giving it an edge. I would love to wear this with my favorite jeans and t-shirt.

eBay Finds: Vintage Rhinestone Mesh Necklace Bracelet and Earring Set

Current Price: $9.99
Shipping: $3.09
Time Left: 6 days 23 hours
I am loving this golden mesh necklace, bracelet and earring set. The price is great and the pieces are so versatile. I don't think I would wear all 3 at the same time but the necklace and bracelets could look great as layering pieces or worn by themselves. The style is glamorous but could easily by worn down for work or a night out. The price is also great considering you would get 3 great pieces!!

The Harbinger Co.: Blossom Earrings

Bayly: Garden Party Necklace

I love the whimsical jewelry in Bayly's Etsy shop. My favorite is the Garden Party necklace. The images on this particualar necklace are the work of Maria Sibylla Maria who was a German artist and scientist in the Baroque Era. What I like most about this necklace is all the vibrant colors. Bayly has taken these beautiful images and protected them with glass and then surrounded them with Japanese beads. Be sure to check out Bayly's Etsy shop to see all the other beautiful imagery and colorful jewelry she has available.

J.Crew: Abacus Bracelets

The crystals, studs and stones on these bracelets from J.Crew slide freely on the satin ribbons like an abacus. I really like these bracelets because they are extremely delicate and feminine and yet have a rockstar style toughness to them. I think they would look just as great layered with a bunch of bangles as they would worn alone.

NYC Subway Token Necklace: Julie&Julia

I finally saw the movie Julie&Julia last night and really liked it! You can't help but notice the NYC Subway Token necklace that Amy Adams wears throughout the movie. The necklace is made from old NYC tokens that were used from 1953-1970. I love things that involve old-NYC and I love jewelry that is made from former everyday items. This necklace is great because it looks good and also has history behind it. Who knows who used the token before it became a necklace!

Free People: Sprayed Layered Chain Necklace

The way the colors transition on this Sprayed Layer Necklace by Free People it reminds my of an ombre, dip-dye effect. I've only seen the ombre, dip-dye done with fabric so to see it mimicked using metal is very unique. I had my eye on this necklace a few months ago but I'm glad I didn't purchase it then because now it's less then half the price!! It's on sale for only $19.95.

Anthropologie: Moss & Petals Necklace

I wanted to post something green for St. Patrick's Day for those of you who would rather wear green jewelry for this holiday be it that you own no green clothing or have a corporate job. I really like this necklace from Anthropologie because of the mix of different color and size beads and how the green color pops against the black, grey and citrine colored flowers. I also like that the green color isn't overpowering but more of a musted green. This necklace could be worn any day as well as any holiday.

Urban Outfitters: Umbrella Jewelry Stand

Today's post is a little different. I was inspired by this past weekends weather in NYC that was named "Umbrellageddon" by a few media outlets. I have never seen so many "dead" umbrellas on the streets in my entire time living in NYC. My family was in town from AZ (hence the lack of posts the last few days) and we braved the weather to enjoy our weekend together. We lost 2 umbrellas. I did a search for umbrella jewelry and nothing really stuck out to me but as a person with a lot of jewelry I am constantly looking for jewelry boxes and other forms of jewelry storage for my collection. I found this Umbrella Jewelry Stand on Urban Outfitters and thought it was adorable. I like the roses that are painted on the inside of the umbrella. The whole weekend we kept talking about how the weather is going to break soon from the winter and spring will be here and I feel like those small roses are the glimmer of better weather and flowers that comes along with the spring rain.

Anthropologie: Tessera Necklace

I received the new Anthropolgie catalog in the mail yesterday and as usual was drooling over the jewelry! I am actually surprised that this is my first post of a piece from Anthroplogie. My favoriite piece from the catalog was the Tessera Necklace. I really like how its made from so many different types of materials; beads, stones, silk wrapped beads. There are so many interesting pieces and small details that make up this necklace. Each piece could be used to make individually great necklaces but put all together, they make one very interesting and beautiful necklace.

LOFT: Long Turquoise Agate Lariat Necklace

This necklace came through on my Shop It To Me today and I was suprised that it was sold at Ann Taylor LOFT. As I'm sure you've realized I am a big fan of agate slice necklaces and this is definitely a way I haven't seen them used before. It's also a great price for an agate slice necklace as it is currently on sale for only $24.99.

ken & dana - Pyrite Ring

I attended the ken & dana GUN buy back fundraiser last night and it was a lot of fun! The GUN Project line looks great and will post my favorites once the pieces are on line. From across the crowded bar, I saw a member of the ken & dana team wearing the Natural Rough Pyrite Ring and I haven't stopped thinking about it since!! It looked absolutely amazing in person and was glittering all night! I am definitely going to have to add this one to my ring collection!

Pade Vavra - Drusy Studs

I really love jewelry made with raw stones (like the TooSis ring I obessessed over and finally bought) so it was love at first sight for me when I saw these earrings in Time Out New York's Gray Trend Shopping article. The earrings are made by Pade Vavra and are available for purchase at catbird and through the Pade Vavra website. I love how the earrings are flat but the Drusy stones have a rough texture. I would love to wear these with a LBD on New Years Eve and let them sparkle all night!

Low Luv - Knuckle Ring

I love how tough this knuckle ring from Low Luv is, it's "like armor for your hand." This is a long ring at 2" but with a hinge at the knuckle so you can still bend your finger. A goth style but you don't have to wear all black to wear it.
