Kwilti: Soft Stud Earrings

Yesterday's Daily Candy New York featured the recycled denim soft stud earrings from Kwilti. Daily Candy linked up with the Everbrite Mercantile Co. which has more of Kwilti's soft stud earrings for sale for $40. The earrings are very unique since they're made with fabric and not stone or metal. They also have a very 1950's housewife feel to them. My personal favorites are the zebra pouf earrings that are pictured first.

Hive and Honey Stud Fringe Earrings

I ordered these Hive and Honey Stud Fringe Earrings from Piperlime yesterday and I am very excited for their arrival. They are part of Piperlime's Military Inspired Jewelry Must-Haves. I am not a big earring buyer so when I find a pair I really like, I usually buy them on the spot. I really like the pyramid studs and the leather detail. Jibby and Juna: Fragment Collection

Jibby and Juna carves and cures polymer clay to create the pieces in her "Fragment" Collection.
The way she distresses and paints the polymer, it looks like it is stone. The advantage of the polymer material is that it is lightweight. My personal favorite is the Fragment post earrings in cool green. They are small post earrings but will add easy color to any outfit. I like the green color because it shows off the carving giving it a stronger "stone" effect. They're also very reasonably priced at only $15.

Bing Bang Zuni Pyramid Earrings

For no particular reason, I love post earrings that have a bit of a dangle. The Zuni Pyramid Earrings from Bing Bang have a great balance between the stud and dangle earring. The cone studs could easily stand alone as a stud earring but the way the Swarovski crystal and cabochon accent stones are fanned below the ear lobe make a great stud/dangle earring. They're available in 2 different colors but I'm always partial to silver and turquoise.

Anthropolgie: Sunshower Earrings

Anthropolgie's Sunshower Earrings are perfect for a summer picnic in the park. They're very feminine and simple making them not to overbearing to wear when your hair is up.

Sikara & Co.: Brushed Swirly Earrings

I saw these earrings this past Memorial day weekend in the Sikara & Co.'s Boston Pop-up store on Newbury Street. The salesgirl was wearing them and I have been obsessing over them ever since. They are so simple and unique and elegant. They were available in the store in 3 different sizes and are available in silver brushed and non-brushed, and gold. My personal favorites are the large size in brushed silver.

Mini Leather Feather Earrings by Jessie Williams

I saw these Mini Leather Feather Earrings by Jessie Williams as part of Time Out New York's "Unexpected Florals" collection. The earrings are hand cut from leather and there is a wide variety of colors, patterns and metallics to choose from. They're also only $14!

J.Crew: Crystal crustacean earrings

Inspired by the shore, J.Crew's Crystal crustacean earrings are a blend of shells, glass bead and crystals making these earrings great to go from a summer day event to a summer night event.

Bop Bijou: Locket Studs

I've seen plenty of locket necklaces in my lifetime but these are the first pair of locket earrings I have ever seen. ASOS: Vintage Style Metal Shell Drop Earrings With Turquoise Tear Drops

These are a great pair of vintage inspired earrings from ASOS for only $10.15. You can find some really great deals on vintage earrings on eBay but it will be hard to find pairs made for pierced ears but luckily there are some great, inexpensive vintage inspired earrings out there.

Colby June: Stacked Rock Earrings

These Colby June sterling silver earrings are inspired by river rocks. These "bold but simple" earrings are fairly large but are still lightweight and comfortable which is hard to find when you're dealing with large, dangling earrings. I like these because they are "bold but simple," so you can add a lot to an outfit without having to wear a lot of jewelry.

Top Shop: Wrap Ball Drop Earrings

Saw these earrings in the Soho Top Shop store a few weeks ago and was amazed at how lightwight they are. Gold colored metal in filigree is wrapped around a black plastic ball gives these an expensive vintage look without the high price tag (only $30) and long search.

I am loving this golden mesh necklace, bracelet and earring set. The price is great and the pieces are so versatile. I don't think I would wear all 3 at the same time but the necklace and bracelets could look great as layering pieces or worn by themselves. The style is glamorous but could easily by worn down for work or a night out. The price is also great considering you would get 3 great pieces!!

The Harbinger Co.: Blossom Earrings

Saw these great earrings by The Harbinger Co. on Shopmodi.com. They are made from Bamboo and handpainted to with silver, gold or red droplets. They are handmade and designed in San Francisco and they're all handmade to order! My personal favorites are the silver ones and there is also the matching necklace to complete the set! Pade Vavra - Drusy Studs

I really love jewelry made with raw stones (like the TooSis ring I obessessed over and finally bought) so it was love at first sight for me when I saw these earrings in Time Out New York's Gray Trend Shopping article. The earrings are made by Pade Vavra and are available for purchase at catbird and through the Pade Vavra website. I love how the earrings are flat but the Drusy stones have a rough texture. I would love to wear these with a LBD on New Years Eve and let them sparkle all night!

Giles & Brother Pyrite Studs

I'm always looking for unique silver studs that can be worn everyday so I don't have to worry about changing my earrings; so when I saw on the Lucky Magazine website a buying guide for stud earrings, I had to take a look. Looking through the 13 pairs of earrings I was instantly drawn to the Giles & Brother Pyrite Studs. They definitely stood out against the other pairs of earrings and I was really liked the rough, almost imperfect shape of them. I picture myself wearing them everyday in my first earring hole with the diamond-like silver studs from MiniCyn in my second hole.

Nina Gibson - Tally Marks

At one point in their lives, everyone has used tally marks for counting. I have used tally marks numerous times and I didnt' know until today that the use of a 5th line diagnol through the first 4 vertical lines is called a five-bar gate. Nine Gibson has used the five-gate as her design for her Tally Mark necklace and earrings. What I like most about these pieces is how she made such a common and everyday thing and turned it into something uncommon.

Aldo - Carualho Earrings

I was in Aldo last week buying a pair of shoes and I was very impressed with their jewelry selection. There was a lot of high quality looking items that were right on the current trends and all at very good prices. I almost picked up a pair of these earrings in silver for myself. I was surprised by how light they are since big earrings can often be heavy. For only $12 I might have to go back and get them.
