Zulasurfing: Rhodium Plated Swarovski Crystal Ring

As readers of this blog you know that I have a deep love for big rings and that is one of the reasons why I love the Zulasurfing Etsy store. I found Zulasurfing while searching on Etsy for an agate slice necklace. I began looking through all the items in the shop and was immediately drawn to the ring collection. My favorite is the Rhodium Plated Swarovski Crystal Ring. I love the size of the ring and how the crystals are set in the black jewelry clay giving it a unique look in comparison to the basic crystal cocktail ring. It doesn't have as much sparkle as the basic crystal cocktail ring, but I like that. It's still glamorous and can be worn to any evening event as well as be worn during the day.

White House Black Market: Pink Multi-Row Necklace

As someone whose wardrobe is made up of mostly black, white and grey clothing, I often shop at White House Black Market. Since their clothing is mostly made up of black and white, the jewelry they have is made to be worn with black and white so the pieces will go with almost anything. I really like this Pink Multi-Row Necklace because of the subtle color it will add to any outfit as a result of the fading of the color from the smaller fuchsia pink beads to the largest black beads. I also love short multi-chain bead necklaces because of the bold statements they make while still being easily wearable. For extra drama, you could layer it with the long version.

This is definitely a conversation piece, long chunky gold necklace with 2 devil "door knocker" charms. I wouldn't recommend wearing this when you need to be on your best behavior.

Giles & Brother Pyrite Studs

I'm always looking for unique silver studs that can be worn everyday so I don't have to worry about changing my earrings; so when I saw on the Lucky Magazine website a buying guide for stud earrings, I had to take a look. Looking through the 13 pairs of earrings I was instantly drawn to the Giles & Brother Pyrite Studs. They definitely stood out against the other pairs of earrings and I was really liked the rough, almost imperfect shape of them. I picture myself wearing them everyday in my first earring hole with the diamond-like silver studs from MiniCyn in my second hole.

Nina Gibson - Tally Marks

At one point in their lives, everyone has used tally marks for counting. I have used tally marks numerous times and I didnt' know until today that the use of a 5th line diagnol through the first 4 vertical lines is called a five-bar gate. Nine Gibson has used the five-gate as her design for her Tally Mark necklace and earrings. What I like most about these pieces is how she made such a common and everyday thing and turned it into something uncommon.

I really like the cloisonne orchid pendant on this necklace. I like the contrast of the brightness of the colors on it against the black beaded chain. I also like the "fanciness" of the cloisonne against the "basicness" of the black bead chain. This is a versatile necklace that can be worn with a dress or a basic white t-shirt.

Uncommon Goods - Reclaimed Kimono Friendship Bracelets

About 2 years ago my friend Kelli introduced me to the company Uncommon Goods and I have been a big fan ever since. Uncommon Goods sells items mostly made from recycled materials and are handmade. You will find a lot of really great gifts and very unique items. I was reading my Lucky Magazine last month and they had a spotlight on friendship bracelets and I also saw friendship bracelets at Anthropologie but my favorites of friendship bracelets that I found are these ones from Uncommon Goods that are handmade from vintage kimono fabric from the 70s and 80s. I like that they are made from reclaimed fabric and that they are a more grown up version of the friendship bracelets you used to make your friends when you were a kid, making them everyday wearable as a young professional.

Aldo - Carualho Earrings

I was in Aldo last week buying a pair of shoes and I was very impressed with their jewelry selection. There was a lot of high quality looking items that were right on the current trends and all at very good prices. I almost picked up a pair of these earrings in silver for myself. I was surprised by how light they are since big earrings can often be heavy. For only $12 I might have to go back and get them.

SuperClover - black bling ring

I don't know if you've noticed but that knuckle rings seem to be everywhere! I currently do not have any knuckle rings in my collection so I started looking for a few of my favorites. The black bling ring from SuperClover's collection of knuckle rings is currently one of my favorites. The long black bar the ring makes across the fingers is almost like they're being censored, but the small stone in the corner adds this tiny bit of "bling" that is just enough.
