Free People: Opal Cluster Ring

Opals are one of my favorite stones. From afar they seem so basic and plain white but when you get up close and really look at an Opal, you can see many different colors. I really like this Opal Cluster Ring from Free People because of the way the cluster of Opals will look when the light hits it right. I also like the filigree detailing on the sides done in antique silver making this look like more of a flea market find then a mass produced piece. It is also very well priced at $38.

The Empress Fringe Bracelet from Free People could easily be worn with a plain white t-shirt and jeans or a LBD. The fringe detailing gives it a unique style that gives it a biker-chick quality while the and the rhinestones adds some old-hollywood.

Free People: Antiqued Flower Rings

Two cast iron flowers with antiqued finishes rest atop a brass band making this beautiful ring from Free People. I haven't seen this ring in person but all of the reviews on the Free People website say it is as beautiful and unique as it looks in the pictures. It is currently marked down from $78.00 to $49.95.

eBay Finds: Elephant Necklaces

Today's post is different then posts I have done in the past. It was inspired by this Elephant Crystal Necklace from Free People (top picture). When I was growing up elephants were my favorite animal and because of that, I often received elephant jewelry as gifts. I remember having a crystal elephant pendant similar to the 2nd picture when I was a kid. When I saw the Elephant Crystal Necklace on Free People it made me wonder if I still had the elephant crystal pendant. I decided to look on eBay and see what other elephant necklaces were for sale and these are a few of the items I found. Each picture is linked to their eBay listing.

Free People: Sprayed Layered Chain Necklace

The way the colors transition on this Sprayed Layer Necklace by Free People it reminds my of an ombre, dip-dye effect. I've only seen the ombre, dip-dye done with fabric so to see it mimicked using metal is very unique. I had my eye on this necklace a few months ago but I'm glad I didn't purchase it then because now it's less then half the price!! It's on sale for only $19.95.
