Fred Flare: Alice time piece watch necklace

Fred Flare's Alice time piece watch necklace was featured in the September Issue of Lucky Magazine. Fred Flare has a wide variety of items for sale making it a great place to shop for almost anything including inexpensive gag gifts and jewelry. I really like the vintage look of this watch necklace and the old-style clock hands and floral engraving. It is also very well priced at only $24 and is a very versatile piece making it an even better deal. You can preorder yours now and they are shipping 10/11.

Michal Golan: Tigers-Eye, Carnelian, Freshwater Pearl and Swarovski Crystal Ring

I saw Michal Golan's Tiger's-Eye, Carnelian, Freshwater Pearl and Swarovski Crystal ring in my Lucky Magazine as part of a collection they put together titled"Sculptural Cocktail Rings." I was pleasantly surprised when it was one of the lower priced rings in the collection ($55) and that it was still on the larger size (1"x1"). What I like about the ring is the color combination and that the stones are fixed to a flat rectangle but since the stones are not flat, there is still depth to the ring.

Giles & Brother Pyrite Studs

I'm always looking for unique silver studs that can be worn everyday so I don't have to worry about changing my earrings; so when I saw on the Lucky Magazine website a buying guide for stud earrings, I had to take a look. Looking through the 13 pairs of earrings I was instantly drawn to the Giles & Brother Pyrite Studs. They definitely stood out against the other pairs of earrings and I was really liked the rough, almost imperfect shape of them. I picture myself wearing them everyday in my first earring hole with the diamond-like silver studs from MiniCyn in my second hole.

Uncommon Goods - Reclaimed Kimono Friendship Bracelets

About 2 years ago my friend Kelli introduced me to the company Uncommon Goods and I have been a big fan ever since. Uncommon Goods sells items mostly made from recycled materials and are handmade. You will find a lot of really great gifts and very unique items. I was reading my Lucky Magazine last month and they had a spotlight on friendship bracelets and I also saw friendship bracelets at Anthropologie but my favorites of friendship bracelets that I found are these ones from Uncommon Goods that are handmade from vintage kimono fabric from the 70s and 80s. I like that they are made from reclaimed fabric and that they are a more grown up version of the friendship bracelets you used to make your friends when you were a kid, making them everyday wearable as a young professional.

Tous - Duna Ring

I was walking around downtown Nassau this past weekend and of course I was looking at all of the jewelry stores when I saw the Tous store. I saw the Duna ring in the store window and recognized it right away from the January issue of Lucky Magazine. What I love about this ring is that is such a basic disc ring style but the chunkiness almost unfinished design gives it this great raw look. This ring could easily become one you wear wear everyday.

Aldo Cocktail Rings

I was reading my Lucky magazine and featured were these great beaded cocktail rings. I think my sister described them best, "they're big and sparkly without being "blingy." A great plus to these rings is that they are available at Aldo and are only $30.

Ezza Exclusive

The entire collection of Ezza Exclusive is absolutely amazing. Every piece in the collection is "bold and fashion forward" and you will not go unnoticed when wearing one. It's no suprise Ezza has received a lot of press and has had pieces from the collection featured in the Etsy Lucky Magazine picks. Ezza uses a variety of materials including different types of beads, cabashons, sequins, lace, and glass stones. The styles she designs are incredible and there is a variety of colors making it easy to find that special piece and hard to pick just one.

Phuze Designs Glass Cocktail Rings - A+R Store

I was reading my December issue of Lucky Magazine when I saw these Glass Cocktail rings from A+R Store featured. I emailed A+R Store and the co-founder Rose contacted me back right away. She told me that the designer Orfeo Quagliata is a young American living in Mexico City and that each ring is slightly different because they are hand done. Rose said that they do very well for them (I'm not surprised!) and that she we will sometimes wear 2 at a time, side by side on the same hand for "max effect." I think I'll be ordering 2.

Flora Bond

After ordering my flora necklace from White Owl, I decided to do an Etsy search using my name "Flora" to see what would come up. By doing this search I found these amazing bib necklaces by Flora Bond. Not suprisingly the bib necklaces have also been included in the Lucky Magazine Picks Etsy Gift Guides. Flora Bond describes the pieces as "vintage glamour with a modern twist" and I think that is a perfect way to describe them. These necklaces make a bold statement and would be the perfect accessory for that special occassion when you're wearing your favorite little black dress.
