eBay Finds: Double Peacock Jewelry box

New Art Nouveau Double Peacock Jewelry Box Figure Model
Current Price: Buy It Now $22.99
Shipping: $8.99

I really like the peacock detailing on this jewelry box. It is also not so colorful that it will stand out in a room which is always a plus for someone like me whose interior decorating doesn't involve coordinating pieces.

Pottery Barn: Glass Boxes

I'm always looking for new ways to store my jewelry and I saw these glass boxes in the Pottery Barn catalog and thought they would be great to store my big bangle bracelets in. I think they would be great to store the bracelets because they are glass so you can still see what's inside (they're meant to be used as ways to display items) so you don't have to worry about "forgetting" what you own. They are also good storage options because the size is big enough to hold larger, unflexible bracelets. There are 2 sizes available and are currently on sale!

Gretel Home: Industreal Uni Containers

I love these Industreal Uni Containers from Gretel Home. I really like the texture and think that one would look great mixed in with my collection of wood jewelry boxes.

Wisteria: Book Boxes

I'm always looking for ways to store my ever growing jewelry collection so I was very excited when I read Design*Sponge's post under $100:jewelry storage. My favorite of the collection was the Book Boxes available exclusively from Wisteria. I like that they don't look like your typical jewelry box. They come in 2 different sizes (2-stack or 3-stack) and a variety of colors (green, blue, pink, turquoise and red). There is also a compartmental single stack style available.

Urban Outfitters: Umbrella Jewelry Stand

Today's post is a little different. I was inspired by this past weekends weather in NYC that was named "Umbrellageddon" by a few media outlets. I have never seen so many "dead" umbrellas on the streets in my entire time living in NYC. My family was in town from AZ (hence the lack of posts the last few days) and we braved the weather to enjoy our weekend together. We lost 2 umbrellas. I did a search for umbrella jewelry and nothing really stuck out to me but as a person with a lot of jewelry I am constantly looking for jewelry boxes and other forms of jewelry storage for my collection. I found this Umbrella Jewelry Stand on Urban Outfitters and thought it was adorable. I like the roses that are painted on the inside of the umbrella. The whole weekend we kept talking about how the weather is going to break soon from the winter and spring will be here and I feel like those small roses are the glimmer of better weather and flowers that comes along with the spring rain.
