J. Crew: Crystal chain grosgrain bracelet

I absolutely love my J.Crew Abacus bracelet and always receive compliments when I wear it so I was very excited when I saw J.Crew's new jewelry arrivals. The Crystal chain grosgrain bracelets really stood out to me. The bracelets are made up of "mixed media" adornments that are hand sewn to two strips of rayon grosgrain. I really like the way the girliness of the silk bows contrasts with the tougheness of the chunky metal chains and how the sparkly stones add a touch of glamour. The bracelets are definitely suitable for day and evening wear.

Jibby and Juna: Fragment Collection

Jibby and Juna carves and cures polymer clay to create the pieces in her "Fragment" Collection.
The way she distresses and paints the polymer, it looks like it is stone. The advantage of the polymer material is that it is lightweight. My personal favorite is the Fragment post earrings in cool green. They are small post earrings but will add easy color to any outfit. I like the green color because it shows off the carving giving it a stronger "stone" effect. They're also very reasonably priced at only $15.

I'm always a fan of black and studs so I'm really loving this bangle. StyleCaster is saying this bangle is great for Fall but I think it is also a great item to get now to wear in the summer. With the hotter weather I don't wear rings and necklaces as often so I wear a lot more bracelets. The hotter weather also brings shorter sleeves so you can show off and wear more bracelets and bangles.

This bracelet comes from the collection Hope Marian which is an exclusive collection at Urban Outfitters from Lizzie Fortunato Jewels. The bracelet is a mix of fabric, chains and rhinestones. There are 4 different bracelets available and the "Blue Wrap" colored one (pictured) is my favorite. I like the mix of colors and materials that make up the bracelet. It could also easily be worn on a daily basis. It's available for $28 at Urban Outfitters online and in their stores.

This leather with gold stud bracelets is from Banana Republic and is only $25. It's a very versatile piece, the leather gives it a laid-back casual feel with the gold studs giving it an edge. I would love to wear this with my favorite jeans and t-shirt.

I am loving this golden mesh necklace, bracelet and earring set. The price is great and the pieces are so versatile. I don't think I would wear all 3 at the same time but the necklace and bracelets could look great as layering pieces or worn by themselves. The style is glamorous but could easily by worn down for work or a night out. The price is also great considering you would get 3 great pieces!!

J.Crew: Abacus Bracelets

The crystals, studs and stones on these bracelets from J.Crew slide freely on the satin ribbons like an abacus. I really like these bracelets because they are extremely delicate and feminine and yet have a rockstar style toughness to them. I think they would look just as great layered with a bunch of bangles as they would worn alone.

About 2 years ago my friend Kelli introduced me to the company Uncommon Goods and I have been a big fan ever since. Uncommon Goods sells items mostly made from recycled materials and are handmade. You will find a lot of really great gifts and very unique items. I was reading my Lucky Magazine last month and they had a spotlight on friendship bracelets and I also saw friendship bracelets at Anthropologie but my favorites of friendship bracelets that I found are these ones from Uncommon Goods that are handmade from vintage kimono fabric from the 70s and 80s.
