Piperlime: Tinley Road Pink Stone Spider Necklace

What really makes this necklace stand out to be is it's combination of different styles. If you break down it's components the major ones to me are the pink stones and chains, as you all know I'm a big fan of stones and chains and the combination of the pink with the chain makes it girly and tough. Another big component is the rope. The rope gives it this great Spring/Summer feel. The smallest parts to this necklace but help make it so unique is the little spiders. I love little details like that and this could easily be mistaken for a piece from Betsey Johnson. Another great thing about this necklace is that it is only $34.00 from Piperlime who also offers free shipping with on no minimum purchase.

Citrine by The Stones: Algeria Necklace

I love this Algeria Necklace by Citrine by The Stones made of rope and metallic thread. I love its short length and colors. It's length is perfect for pairing with a v-neck and it's colors really make it pop. Since it is a bold piece, I would wear it alone or with only a ring. However, despite it's boldness, it could be worn with your hair up without being overbearing. It's available for purchase at Charm and Chain.

Made Her Think: Breast Cancer Awareness Talon Necklace

In honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, ShopBop is exclusively carrying the Breast Cancer Awareness Talon Necklace by Made Her Think. "Made Her Think will donate 50% of the proceeds from this necklace to Breast Cancer Network of Strength, an organization whose mission it is to ensure, through education and advocacy, that no one faces breast cancer alone." The necklace is made of Rose Gold making it pink which is the color for Breast Cancer Awareness. I like this necklace because it is very fashionable and for a good cause.

Savage Salvage: Crystal Bullet Necklaces

Savage Salvage uses objects that are recycled, upcycled, repurposed on recycled to design her jewerly. Her Crystal Bullet Necklaces are made using spent bullet casings and raw or chandelier crystals. Savage Salvage made this design is a contradiction between the bullet and the healing power of the crystal. These are very tough necklaces that are great to wear layered with longer necklaces.

Fred Flare: Alice time piece watch necklace

Fred Flare's Alice time piece watch necklace was featured in the September Issue of Lucky Magazine. Fred Flare has a wide variety of items for sale making it a great place to shop for almost anything including inexpensive gag gifts and jewelry. I really like the vintage look of this watch necklace and the old-style clock hands and floral engraving. It is also very well priced at only $24 and is a very versatile piece making it an even better deal. You can preorder yours now and they are shipping 10/11.

locallibrary: Draping Drops Necklaces

"The perfect handmade jewelry for everyday" is locallibrary's shop tag line and I think it fits perfectly with the pieces she has for sale. I am crushing hard on the draping dots necklaces available in silver and gold. They can easily be worn from day to night, work to play, or wedding to picnic. They're simple enough to be layered but stylish enough to be worn alone. They're a great basic piece that would be an excellent addition to anyones jewelry collection and are very well priced at $40.

House of Harlow 1960: Gold Peacock Feather-Enameled Locket Pendant

I was going through today's New York Magazines - the Cut's 23 Lustworthy Lockets Slideshow and wasn't surprised that one of my favorites is from Nicole Richie's House of Harlow 1960 collection. I've always been a big fan of her collection and her style in general. I love the "peacock" inpsired details and colors. It is available here for pre-order and will ship at the end of August.

Anthropologie: Stepping Stone Necklace

I love short layered stone necklaces. It's amazing how much they can add to an outfit and are very comfortable to wear. I really like the Stepping Stone Necklace from Anthropologie because of the different colors and types of stones that it is designed with. The necklace seems very basic, 3 layers of stones, but once you start to look at the details and all the different colors and textures that it is made up on it takes on a personality all its own. Buyers tip, it is only available for purchase online.

Ann Taylor LOFT: Purple/White Clam Necklace

I was picking up lunch a few weeks back and behind me on line there was this girl wearing this amazing shell necklace. I couldn't stop looking at it and was trying not to act too creepy. I figured it was probably some one-of-a-kind piece she picked up on vacation and was trying to figure out what keywords I could use to search for it. A few days later I was in Ann Taylor LOFT and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the same shell necklace that that girl was wearing. I didn't purchase the Purple/White Clam necklace that day and I'm glad I waited because it's now on sale from $44.00 to $29.99.

Banana Republic: Sabina charm necklace

Banana Republic is right on trend with their collection of Mixed Metal Jewelry. I really like the mixed metal chain necklaces with charms like the Manor keys necklace and of course the Sabina charm necklace. I chose to feature the Sabina charm necklace because of the name (one of sisters names is Sabina) and for the charms. I really like the pyramid stud charms, it gives the necklace a seriously tough edge without being the typical pyramid stud leather chocker.

t8designs

t8designs makes these absolutely amazing pieces by repurposing antique items like buckles and brooches. Each piece looks like it is vintage because of it's construction using vintage items but they are constructed during current times so they're up with the current styles making it very hard to pick just one. For example, the necklace in the 2nd picture is very reminiscent of this Madewell necklace but t8designs necklace is muche more uniqe as well as one-of-a-kind having being made using a vintage brooch.

Cynamonn: Linen Necklaces

I saw Cynamonn's Baltic Amber Linen Necklace on the front page of Etsy on Tuesday and of course I had to visit her shop where I saw more of these same style necklace. They are made from hand crochet linen adorned with stones or freshwater pearls. They are each one-of a kind and she will take custom orders. My personal favorite is the Ivory-Nude Linen Necklace with Beautiful Fluorite Stone Beads. I like it because the materials and colors remind me of the beach and would love to wear it with a simple sun dress to a beach wedding.

Smart Bargains: Green Jewel Bib Necklace

I saw this necklace today on Smart Bargains and I was pleasantly surprised that it is labelled as a bib necklace. I personally haven't yet bought into the bib necklace trend since I haven't really found too many that are unique and to my taste but I do really like this bib necklace because it still has the same "styling" of a bib necklace without looking like all the other ones out there. One big thing about bib necklaces that I'm not too big a fan of is when they have ribbons for chains. I like that this one has an actual chain for it's chain. It's on sale right now for only $22.98 and also comes in grey.

Ann Taylor LOFT: Long Silver Nugget Necklace

I saw this necklace last week on the Ann Taylor LOFT website but my computer was having problems uploading photos (hence the lack of posts) so I couldn't post it until today and it is no longer listed on the website. It may still be available in stores so be sure to check out your local store for it, it's a great basic necklace that will work for summer layering and will easily carry over through all the seasons.

This is a great looking vintage necklace. The seller doesn't provide much detail about the size and length but I think based on the pciture it would work alone or layered.

Forever 21: Koi Fish Necklace

I have a long silver fish necklace that bought off of eBay a few years ago that I wear often (and my sister always borrows when she's in town). Whenever I wear it I get a lot of compliments on it, especially from guys. The fish pendant is movable and that's always the first thing people ask me and then they ask if they can move it and where I got it from. Since I purchased mine off of eBay, it's hard for someone else to find the same necklace. However, Forever 21 has this Koi Fish Necklace that is pretty similar. I like that it comes in colors (mine is just silver) and that is also has movable parts. another big plus is that it's only $6.80 and is available from Forever 21 so it is easy to purchase.

Hive and Honey: Multi Long Chain Necklace

Piperlime has received some new jewelry from Hive and Honey that is very affordable and up with the current trends. My favorite piece is this Multi Long Chain Necklace. It is very affordable at only $30 (great price for a mutli chain necklace like this) and very versatile. This is necklace makes an easy transition from day to night make it's value even better.

Eden&Eden: Acrylic Pendant

I really like the way this Acrylic Pendant from Eden&Eden looks like a paper doily but is actually made from acrylic. It is also has a rocker vibe even though it is very feminine. The style and the black and white coloring also makes this very easy to wear.

Kenneth Cole New York: Multi Chain Amethyst Necklace

Kenneth Cole New York's Multi Chain Amethyst Necklace is a great combination of 2 big jewelry trends, chains and stones. I love the different colored chains and that they are all thin but there are so many of them that the necklace still has bulk. I also like how it looks the way that Piperlime merchandised it with just a simple white tank top. A definite plus is that it is currently on sale and Piperlime has free shipping and free returns.
